This wildflower-focused wedding in Telluride was a stunner. Christina & Jeff had a vision of bright, colorful, and bold – not only did we pull that off with their invitations, but their entire wedding day was bursting with vibrant blooms and personal touches.
This suite is the epitome of what I mean when I say “fine art wedding invitations”. From bold florals to a stunning landscape of the view where they said their “I do”s, we didn’t spare any details with this design. In collaboration with Alli, the “Meet us in Telluride Colorado” graphic was used in shimmering gold foil on a custom pocket folder, as well as a postcard-style RSVP that played into the destination wedding. Tying all the cards together was a leather cord and custom handmade paper mountain made from plantable seed paper. The combination of letterpress typography and digitally printed painted details created a whimsical yet sophisticated vibe. With its high level of customization and colorful fine artistry, this invitation suite quickly became one of my favorites.
My favorite feature of this suite, though, is the envelopes. I always say that wedding invitations are the first impression of your big day – well, envelopes are the first impression of that first impression, and I love to design with the guest in mind.
Imagine this: it’s been a long day at work. You get home, open your mailbox, and among the piles of junk mail and bills you see a beautiful dusty blue envelope. When you remove it from the stack, you see your names written in the most beautiful white calligraphy, and a pretty little stamp set that hints to what’s inside. Turning it over, you find a hand-painted envelope flap. (Yes, I did hand-paint 150 envelope flaps for this couple!) You can feel the texture of the brush strokes, and the pops of color get you excited to look inside. Opening it, now you see a deckled-edge handmade paper envelope liner, full of flower petals and seeds. It’s been letterpress printed with an illustration of the town of Telluride, Colorado.
That is the magical moment that I strive to create for all of my couples’ guests.
Christina & Jeff opted to have their original painting professionally framed in a gorgeous gold floater frame. Now, this original palette-knife painting lives in their home as a cherished memory. I also worked on acrylic table numbers for them, with real pressed flowers that were all individually hand-placed between two sheets, and white vinyl numbers applied to the outside. Seeing how these came together with the florals of their day was a *chef’s kiss* moment.
Christina & Jeff – thank you for entrusting me with your wedding paper. Your day came together so beautifully, and I think when it comes to giving guests a hint at what’s to come through the invitations, we hit this one out of the park! Congratulations ✨

From the couple:
“Amy is an incredible artist and runs a very efficient and organized business. Amy can do ANYTHING. Her skills as a diverse and multitalented artist are made apparent early on as she patiently guided me through different visions for my invitations/wedding stationary to figure out what was best for us. She pays close attention to the little details that make a big difference.
I have continued to receive compliments from guests who have said that my wedding stationary/invitations were the most beautiful they have ever seen. I even have a few guests that framed the RSVP postcard she painted for our invitations instead of returning it! (Luckily they could RSVP via the website too)
Her experience in the wedding business is apparent as she was the only vendor I had for my wedding that made things easier and helped decrease my stress. She was more helpful than my planners in making sure everything stayed on schedule and that my invitations were done correctly.
I would HIGHLY recommend Amy for any stationary or paper needs you need. She will make you beautiful and unforgettable pieces of art that will be valued by both you and your guests.”
