A long-time dream coming to fruition is something to be celebrated. For Fern & Ivy Studios, we did just that by building an artful brand that captured the essence of a creative community.
As a photographer, owning her own studio had felt like a pipe dream for Samantha. When an opportunity arose to purchase an old 1917 schoolhouse, she and her husband couldn’t resist. Transforming this space has been a long but worth it journey, and I’m so glad that I was able to develop a brand for them that reflects their goals: a heart-filled space that fosters creativity.
Earth tones and hand-illustrated botanics echoed the aptly named Fern & Ivy. Ferns and ivy grow rampant on the property, creating a nature-forward atmosphere that immediately grounds and centers you. Artists and other creatives are invited to rent a space that inspires them, and we wanted the brand to be bursting with that inspiration.

From Samantha:
“Amy is equal parts incredible artistry and technical skill and is the only person I trusted to create a brand identity and website design for two of my businesses. She really listens to the heart of your business, your mission and goals for the future. Amy brought all of those pieces into her designs. This resulted in a thoughtful brand and fleshed out website that truly spoke to my ideal client. I could never have done it on my own! It was like Amy reached inside my brain and was able to flesh out my desires even better than I could articulate. If you are looking to revamp your brand or create from scratch. Amy is THE BEST!“
