Amy D. wrote this beautiful poem for her sister after she passed. It was an honor to collaborate with Alli on such a special piece. With her spot calligraphy, I illustrated a custom border and designed this piece. I printed this on a soft blue handmade paper with two-color blue and charcoal letterpress. Then, I hand-applied gold leaf to the edges and border details. The final touch was mounting this inside a gold float frame. Thank you, Amy, for entrusting us with something so close to your heart.
